Jai Guruji Sangat ji,

With Guruji’s blessings, to give clarity on how we Post Satsang details to avoid confusions in future:

1.       Regular satsangs we post in sewa group turn by turn (eg. First satsang followed by weekend Satsang Posting in same whatsapp group).

2.       If in case any Satsang falls on both the weekend days, Saturday and Sunday then we try to announce Sunday satsang in main Group, and for Saturday Satsang we post right after Satsang in sewa group.

3.       Since you must be noticing we are having live singing Shabad and Satsang by other blessed Sangat on weekends and mostly we have another Satsang already on weekend. We post live Shabad Satsang in whatsapp group just to announce so everybody can register irrespective of the posting in Sewa group as they are two separate groups.

4.       For any Special occasion Satsang (Festivals etc.) we usually post in Sewa group on frequent intervals so the post is up which are in person or online to avoid interference with any other Satsang posting.

(But in a special case, If there is no satsang on the weekend other than the Live singing shabad satsang(Posting for which is done separately , refer to Point 3) then we may also post satsang for occasions in sewa whatsapp group like we did for Rakshabandhan special satsang).

5.       Calendar utility for has been created on website was for ease of viewing and understanding as it can get confusing for Guruji’s Sangat as they can get lost in multiple whatsapp groups, multiple postings and multiple replies.

We have also created another dedicated one-way whatsapp group which is only for posting links to online satsangs before each satsang.

Online Calendar is always a good place to find all relevant Satsang information all in one place (personal satsang/online Satsang/special Satsang/Indian festivals/USA Holidays).

6.       As communicated earlier, there are placeholders for Satsang on calendar and we update details (as provided by concerned Sangat) a week or 10 days in advance.

Please be noted, Sangat is equally responsible to provide all the relevant details at least ONE week in advance to the admins so it can be published in an appropriate manner in respective group and online calendar. If Sangat is providing Satsang details at last moment then there can be delay in posting.

7.       Satsang should be requested through the online calendar, Satsang request form, as on submission it will send an automated email confirmation of submission so the Sewadaars can then take appropriate steps and follow up with Sangat. Sangat will also get copy of this submission email for record, so if they want they can also then follow up through emails (if needed).

8.       For Playlist , there will be Gurbani Shabads and Vyakha Shabads played during Satsang as Guruji always said that, there is nothing more pure on earth than Gurbani, Sangat ji will only get your answers by listening to the Shabads. Bhajans can be played before & after satsang during langar time.  Also, please note important point that for satsangs being shared online, the actual playlist will be played on server. For any offline satsangs the playlist can be played locally at satsang venue.

9.       Going forward Poster invites will be used ONLY for Occasions (Festivals, special Satsangs etc.)  for In-Person Satsang, followed by Zoom Invites for attending same Satsang Online.

We are trying our best to do Sewa in a timely manner, integrate everything and better our communication due to so many announcements.

These guidelines are subject to change based on situation (eg. There may be two Satsang on a single day, there may be satsangs on consecutive days, there may be two separate online satsangs and in-person satsangs on the same day, or there may be 2 occasion satsangs within a short period etc.)
